The design and fashion in AMIDA take inspiration from many futuristic concepts made by varying books, movies, anime, games and illustrations. Heavily influenced by circuitry and mechanical design, the many different customizable options for the AMIDA Avatar Generator (throughout now referenced as the AAG,) have led way to varying, unique personas and a distinct line of couture only available on the network. Many companies and individuals have used the capabilities of the network to create and sell their own wares: varying from costumes, battle-efficient armor, stadium gear, small-clothes, and formal wear. Many shops in the Shopping District display these creations in their windows, a virtual compendium of wardrobes for any occasion.

Battle Gear is a specific subset of your avatar's inventory where any gear applicable to the PvP and PvE aspects of AMIDA are stored. Battle Gear is typically much more protective and armored, offering certain attributes based on the company who made it and it's model-type. The less armored the type, the more offensive benefits your avatar would receive (while the more armored the gear is, the more defensive attributes you are given.) While sub-sets can be swapped out in non-PvP or PvP-activated areas, and sub-sets can be customized, it is highly recommended that Battle Gear subsets remain defaulted or appropriate for the Battle Arena and properties outside of the City Limits.

Costume Gear is a specific subset of your avatar's inventory where any gear applicable to pacified areas or city-oriented areas of AMIDA are stored. Costume Gear is exactly what it sounds like: Customized, fancy, and usually terribly expensive gear made mostly by fashion conglomerates to promote aesthetic appeal to the public and to those who are wealthy enough to procure a set of Costume Gear from the likes of VirtualHound, Aspen Deor, Veraschi, Xan Galter, Shore Amani, and many, many more. While sub-sets can be swapped out in non-PvP or PvP-activated areas, and sub-sets can be customized, it is highly recommended that Costume Gear remains worn only in Non-PvP areas inside the City Limits.

Stadium Gear is a specific subset of your avatar's inventory where any gear applicable to competitive stadium events of AMIDA are stored. A standard subset is provided when you enter the Stadium for the first time, and as you participate and win events in the Stadium, the option to purchase newer, much more customized and suitable Stadium Gear, will become available. Stadium subsets can only be used on the Stadium premises, and contain no additional attributes or stats that benefit the avatar or it's user. While sub-sets can be swapped out in non-PvP or PvP-activated areas, and sub-sets can be customized, Stadium Gear cannot be used outside of the Stadium and therefore are only usable in City Limits.
